A Financial Investment Journey
Workshop Overview
Our Market Masters Workshop teaches participants about the ins and outs of investment and how to predict market trends through an market investment simulation workshop game called L.O.R.E. L.O.R.E is based of the US financial history of an unknown 20 years period, which will be disclosed to players after the game, and the result of their choices will determine whether they can get ahead in life or become bankrupt.
Learning Outcomes
Our workshop makes learning about the history of investing for youth and adults alike. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain an understanding of how the prices of different assets can fluctuate, how data can be interpreted from news headlines to aid in investment and how to predict future market trends.
Different Asset Classes
Learn about the different types of asset classes such as stock, property, gold and bond.
View how their market price fluctuates at different periods of time.
Data Interpretation
Learn how to interpret data from news headlines on important economic events for specific time periods.
Understand how to read economic data like GDP, inflation, interest rates and employment and how they can influence investment decisions.
Trend Prediction
Learn how to predict future trends based on the world economic data and spot investment opportunities in financial markets.
Workshop Format
In this workshop, participants will first learn about the rules of the game as well as it's learning outcomes, and will then play the game with the assistance of a game master. Participants will compete among each other for the highest points, and the highest scoring participant will win prize money pooled together from the entry fee.
The workshop runs for 2 hours, and requires a minimum of 20 pax.
