Workshop Overview
Our Cryptocurrency 101 Workshop teaches participants about cryptocurrencies, how they work, and the dangers of cryptocurrency scams through our original game, Cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a simulation board game that closely follows how cryptocurrencies are mined and traded in the real world, and the dangers of investing in cryptocurrencies which can potentially be financial scams.
Cryptocurrency is a simulation game that closely follows how cryptocurrencies are being mined and traded in the real world. It gives players an idea how cryptocurrency is produced, how transactions are validated and the impact of news and rumors have on the prices of the cryptocurrencies. The game also warns of the dangers of investing in cryptocurrencies whereby many of them are actually financial scams in disguise.

Learning Outcomes
Our workshop makes learning about cryptocurrency easy for youth and adults alike. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the meaning of cryptocurrency, the meaning of proof of stake, and what cryptocurrency scams look like.

Learn about what cryptocurrency is.
Understand how cryptocurrency mining works and what proof of stake is.
Crypto Exchange
Know how cryptocurrency exchange works and what influences the prices of cryptocurrencies.
Dangers of Crypto
Identify the dangers of cryptocurrency and how to spot them.
Workshop Format
In this workshop, participants will first learn about the rules of the game as well as it's learning outcomes, and will then sit in tables of 2-5 people and play the game with the assistance of a game master.
The workshop runs for 2 hours, and requires a minimum of 20 pax.
